Surgical Dentistry
Surgical dentistry is a branch of dentistry that focuses on the treatment of oral diseases using surgical methods. Specialists in this field perform procedures such as tooth extractions, removal of tumors and cysts, and treatment of pathologies related to the jaws, temporomandibular joint (TMJ), and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
Presentation
One of the core areas of surgical dentistry is implantology.
Thanks to modern technologies and high-quality materials, oral surgeons are now able to replace missing teeth with durable and functional prosthetics.
Surgical dentistry also addresses complex orthodontic cases. Surgeries aimed at correcting bite issues and dental arch defects not only improve aesthetics but also help prevent problems with chewing function and jaw joint disorders.
This field of dentistry plays a vital role in maintaining oral health and beauty, while also offering solutions for congenital anomalies.
