Veneers
Modern dentistry makes it possible to achieve truly stunning results, and veneers have become one of the most popular solutions. Veneers are thin, custom-made micro-prosthetics placed on the front surface of the teeth to improve their appearance. They are ideal for individuals with imperfections in their front teeth and offer a reliable way to conceal flaws and achieve a Hollywood-worthy smile. By bonding to the tooth surface, veneers transform the shape and color of teeth, providing a quick and effective method for correcting various dental imperfections. This advanced technique allows patients to attain a flawless smile with minimal intervention and maximum aesthetic impact.

Main Types of Veneers
- Porcelain (Ceramic) Veneers: Porcelain veneers are renowned for their natural appearance, durability, and long-lasting aesthetic appeal. This type of veneer is produced in dental laboratories, customized to the individual measurements of the patient’s teeth. Proper placement of ceramic veneers requires partial removal of the enamel layer.
- Composite Veneers: Composite veneers are applied directly to the tooth surface and typically do not require enamel removal. This option is more affordable but comes with some limitations, they are less durable and more prone to staining compared to porcelain veneers. However, they can be easily repaired or replaced when needed, making them a flexible solution for minor aesthetic corrections.
Contraindications for Veneer Placement
- Individuals with severe oral health conditions: Veneers are not recommended if there are untreated infections or gum diseases.
- Patients with thin tooth enamel: Since placing veneers involves removing a thin layer of enamel, they are not suitable for people with significantly thin enamel.
- Severe bite (occlusion) issues: While veneers can correct minor alignment flaws, major bite anomalies require orthodontic treatment.
- Veneers cannot be placed on teeth with extensive structural damage or decay.
