Implantology

Implantology is one of the most advanced branches of modern dentistry, focused on the placement of dental implants. Implants offer a reliable solution for restoring both the functionality and aesthetics of the teeth and smile. At our clinic, dental implantology is one of our core areas of expertise. Dental implants represent a vital aspect of contemporary dental care, allowing for long-lasting, natural-looking tooth replacement and improved oral health. Dental implants are artificial tooth roots designed to replace missing teeth. They are made from biocompatible and hypoallergenic materials, ensuring safe integration with the body. Implants are surgically placed into the jawbone, where they serve as stable anchors for dental crowns, bridges, or dentures. They effectively replace the roots of lost teeth, providing a strong foundation for fixed or removable artificial teeth.

Dental Implantation May Be Required in the Following Cases:

  1. Dental implants can be used to replace one or several missing teeth. A key advantage is that the implant bears the load itself, preventing any impact on the surrounding healthy teeth.
  2.     Complete edentulism (total tooth loss). Implants can be used to fully restore the entire dental arch.
  3. Implants can help improve the retention of removable dentures, making their use more reliable and comfortable.

The longevity of dental implants can vary significantly depending on various factors, such as the quality of the surgical procedure, proper maintenance, and the patient’s overall health condition. With the right approach, implants can last for decades. To ensure long-term success, it is essential to maintain proper oral hygiene and regularly visit the dentist for routine check-ups.
